Green wooden door, white wall, Tunisia

An ode to beauty through simplicity.

I could say a lot about my love for this country and its culture which influenced me a lot – for I grew up and spent several years of my adolescence there –, the deep attachment I have with its inhabitants, the extreme feeling I had walking out of the airport of Tunis–Carthage this Summer after 10 years away… but it is not the point here and now.

This “short series” is focused on something more trivial and simple: colors.

Whitewashed walls under the blue sky. White cities facing the Mediterranean Sea. I close my eyes and think about Tunisia and, almost like a retinal persistence, my mind gets filled with White and Blue.

Colors embracing, in a soft duality. Tunisian shades of White.
