In December 2010, I learned that I would be leaving to Canada, that my application for a visa had been approved. I thought that I would be packing and leaving in February or March. That was until my (fantastic) mom asked me: “What if you delay your departure to Canada and come and spend a few days with us in Cameroon?”. Smile.
That’s what happened. 37 days in Cameroon, exactly, as a link between my French and Canadian lives.
